A Canadian Commemorative Medal has been created to mark His Majesty King Charles III's coronation, May 6,

2023. The King Charles III Coronation Medal is a visible and tangible way to recognize

30,000 outstanding individuals of all ages and from all

walks of life who have made a difference in their communities.

The Medal will highlight themes that both King Charles III and Canadians hold dear, including service, the

environment, and sustainability and our nation's diversity. And an Australian

National Gregory Coppley is the first recipient of the Coronation Medal to be awarded

in a certain date certain, but this underlines, Gregory, something you've taught me.

The King is the King of many countries in the Commonwealth,

not all, but many countries, you're Australia and Canada. What is the King to Canada?

Well, Canada is exceptionally pro- monarchy,

and not only do Canadians generally support the monarchy and the crown of Canada, but so do to the

First Nations because King George III in particular signed many treaties with First Nation peoples,

some of which had been in existence for a thousand years as identifiable nation states.
