Gordon G Chang. Canada. Over these last days and weeks thanks to our colleague Charles

Burton at the McDonald's Lorry Institute, we've attempted to keep up with the revelations

in Canada of Chinese intervention Chinese influence peddling Chinese aggression towards

Canada towards Canadian elections 2019 is mentioned 2021 is mentioned. So is the Prime Minister

himself Justin Trudeau and some aspects of Mr. Trudeau's family called the Trudeau Foundation.

And now we're dealing with an allegation from the intelligence services in Canada that

the Chinese Communist Party targeted a member of parliament Michael Chang, a conservative

member of parliament targeted him at least in 2021 and if not before targeted for a way

to either defeat him at the polls or intimidate him through his family. It is a it is a towering

allegation and we welcome Charles Burton to comment on where this begins and it has no

obvious end. We do have this quote from the Prime Minister in London following the coronation.

I'm presuming he's returning to Canada within these last hours, but on in London on Sunday

the Prime Minister said this meaning the allegation that Chang was bullied or influenced

peddled. This is a decision this is a serious and significant question Trudeau said Sunday

speaking with reporters in London. This is a decision not to be taken lightly and the

foreign minister is leaning into this very very carefully. Charles a very good day to you.

That is a non denial denial of the allegation. What is your understanding of where the investigation
