I want to discuss the process of studying using a podcast like this one. Before diving in, I feel it's worth mentioning up front that I have quite an important and exciting announcement to make very much

related to this idea. So just know that it is coming and hopefully you'll still be listening by

then and it is very much along these lines and something I've been eagerly waiting to tell you guys

about. So if you regularly listen to this podcast, that means a few things. First, it means that you find

podcasts generally to be an effective use of your time, presumably. Second, it means that you're

interested in nutrition. And third, you likely use this podcast as a way to enhance your

understanding of nutrition and nutrition science. And this could be for a variety of reasons.

And there's probably a spectrum that exists amongst the listenership to this podcast.

On one end, as with any podcast, really, there will be some percentage of listeners who

tune in simply to enjoy listening in the moment. By that, I mean

they find the discussions interesting, they find them fascinating, and enjoyable in some way,
