This is Handel on the Law, marginal legal advice, where I tell you, you have absolutely no case.

This is something that I've been talking about, a topic that sort of been just an interest to me,

because what the courts have said make no sense.

So the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that having the motto in God we trust on currency is not

an endorsement of a particular religion.

So let's start out with anything having the name God on a public building you're not

allowed to do.

There have been cases after cases where

nativity scenes have been tossed out, where you have the Ten Commandments as a memorial in front of a

courthouse, that's gone. Depictions of any religious significance in courtrooms or in public buildings, that's all gone.

Forcing to say under God and the Pledge of Allegiance, that's gone.

Prayer in school, even just even a moment of silence.

And it has religious connotations.

That's gone.

So how do you argue that in God we trust on the currency honors America's,

how in God we trust on the currency is not a violation of separation of church and state?

Frankly, I don't see it because it is.

Because the courts have ruled that separation of church and state involves not only a belief in religion, but a belief in no religion.

And to profess a religion is a violation of the Constitution separation of church and state.

You can't have the church, which is God, involved in anything dealing with a state agency or state endeavor.
