What's up guys? Derek, more plates, more dates.com. Today we're going to be talking about

monoxidyl and monoxidil dependent hair specifically. So a lot of guys, they ask me about things like,

oh, can I just use a monocidal for like a year and then like maintain it with finasteride or can I do this?

And when can I ever come off of it or whatever the hairs that

you grow are 100% dependent on the monoxidyl so it's basically like even if you grew let's just say

your density improved by like 10% when you added a monoxide that hair is only there because of the increased circulation to the area and the monoxidil, that hair is only there because of the increased circulation to the area

and the monocidal causing growth of that hair on your, you know, wherever you're taking it.

And you can't maintain that when you come off of it, nor can you maintain it with things

that are operate via a totally separate mechanism of action.

So let's just say you,

you take monoxidil for like five years and your density improves about like 10

percent and it would have otherwise, you know,

with your normal progression of endogenic alopecia,

it normally would have decreased 10%.

So you're just breaking even and everything staying the same. But then you drop the monocidal.

What would happen is you would drop to that minus 10% baseline that you would have been at

otherwise if you hadn't taken the monocidal. That's just how it works. All of these hairs from

monoxidil are become monoxidol. That's just how it works. All of these hairs from monocidal are

become monocidal dependent hairs 100%. So regardless of what you're doing, what you're taking,

these hairs are dependent on your application of monocid to survive. I really just don't like

monocidal. For me, it bloats me up. It makes me feel

terrible. I look, I look worse. It's just like, it would be like my last resort thing. It also
