While it's all in milliseconds today, that's what we're talking about,

milliseconds, things that happen in milliseconds that can change the outcome of a

crash or get-off, what we're talking about is airbags. Airbags that are

either built into a vest or a jacket and the jacket or vest senses that you're about to crash and if all goes as planned, it inflates and about the time it takes you to blink your eye or snap, that snap, took about 60 milliseconds. We're talking really really fast

somewhere around that anyway. But what you will pick up in these conversations

today is that there's a few topics that we as riders need to consider.

for your style of riding?

And what are the chances of them actually saving you from some kind of injury if you

were in a crash or get-off? Well, when it comes to airbag technology, airbags have obviously

been around for a long time. We know them well in cars. We know what they do for us there. But motorcycles are different.

There's so many variables with a motorcycle and being that you're riding on top of this vehicle.

Think about this though, airbags have been required in Moto GP since 2018.

Now, just coming this year, they will be required for riders in Dakar. But these are top-level riders doing

extreme things. Will they really add that much safety for the average rider? Could an airbag
