Hey guys, welcome or welcome back to the podcast. We're your friends, Maddie and Lauren. And we are back for another episode. We have an exciting one today. We're talking about career, which is great because it's something everybody has to deal with in their life to a certain extent because everyone has a career or many careers in their lifetime.

So we're going to talk about our experiences in our short adult life so far,

especially Lauren short adult life.

But hopefully give some insight about choosing a career, how to find what's best for you,

mentors, changing your career path, and everything else in between.

Yes, this is something that I've been thinking a lot about because I feel like I'm at the

stage of life where people expect me to know what I want to do.

I was going to say when I grow up,

but like for work, I guess. And it's something that me and my friends are trying to figure out

right now. So should be an interesting topic. But before we get into that, let's give a little

life update because Maddie and I may or may not have missed last Friday's upload, so we should have a lot to update you on.

Yeah, we did miss a week, so I'm trying to think what happened.

Well, our house got broken into, which is kind of crazy.

That's like the big story of the week, I would say.

That was wild.

I had just gotten home for a night out, and I

like shower and I'm about to go to bed. It's really late, like two in the morning, and I get a text

that's like, our house just got broken into. So that was 5 a.m. their time. Do you know what happened?

Well, not really.

Do you want to tell the story?

I don't really know what happened.

Somebody was asking me who, it's like a family friend, asked me, and I'm like, I don't know because I haven't spoken to anyone.
