fas alu al-a la dikriim. And the response to this is that if by Salah you mean our daily Salahat, our five prayers Dohar Fajar,

Maghreb icha and Fajur, then in those Salahat must be performed, the Arkan, the Wajibat, the Dickar, the Doaz, well the Doaz we're going to come to them as a controversy with the Doaz, but the Quranic recitation and the Tikbirathram and the subharabil ala and subhara bale al-a and the tahyat and the sala Ibrahimia these must be done in Arabic and if somebody does not speak Arabic, they are required to learn those

phrases and that is why across the globe every single practicing Muslim

memorizes the Quran enough for them to read in the prayers and every

single Muslim memorizes these basic ad-car subháháháháháh, subháháháháháháh, Subhārab al-A al-Lah, you know, Sami al-N-Hāmāhādā, and all of these Athākādā are a part and parcel of our Salawat.

So they must be done in Arabic.

If they are done in other than Arabic, the Sala is bālālālālt till it is not to be accepted.

Now, the only area where there's a bit of a gray area and a bit of leniency

is with regards to Dua to Allah, duah to Allah, can it be done in another language?

Now, if the Dua is outside of Sala, so if you're asking Dua's outside of Sala, then by unanimous consensus all such duas can be done in any language.

You may raise your hands up to Allah outside of Sala and make Dua pray to Allah Aza Wajal for your needs of this world and your needs of the next world in any language that you speak.

It is all permissible, no problem. The only area that there's a

controversy is making duas inside of Sala. As we said outside of Sala, there's no

controversy. Inside of Sala, once you finish the adkah, so for example in the

sujud you've said Subhah Rabil ala, now you are in Sajda. Can you then say,

oh, Allah, grant me the good of this this world oh Allah allow me to ace my exam

oh Allah grant me a righteous spouse oh Allah give me that job that I want can you make that

duah in other than Arabic and this is where you have two opinions and the opinion that I strongly
