But we have to start today with the recent events across the United States, the social unrest following the tragic death of George Floyd in Minneapolis on Monday, May the 25th.

Solly, the reason we have to talk about this and it relates to the NFL, the NFL is a league

with almost

three quarters of it made up by black players and they're going to be hurting right now.

They're going to be feeling all of this pain that America is feeling.

I'm just going to start with a very general question.

How are you feeling as a black man living in America right now?

You know, these are things that we've had to cope with through really out our entire lives.

You know, I remember, you know, my grandfather talking to us about things that occurred during his time as a young man in the South.

And he moved his family from the South in the 40s out to California.

Then my father, I remember him telling us stories about his young life in terms of local law enforcement

and things that you had to do to be careful, to make sure that you did fall on the other side, how you needed to be

submissive and always respectful is what my father had taught us. I remember teaching my boys the

same things. And when I speak to some of my other friends who are not of African-American descent,

they have no fathom or no understanding of what I'm
