Good morning and happy Sunday, everyone. Welcome back to the messy masterpiece podcast,

which had in Torrey. We're super excited to jump into today's devotional. But before

that, two quick things. Number one, we hope that you enjoyed our long form episode that

let's just jump in today's episode. Yeah, so let's jump into it guys. Today's devotional is

titled Beauty Within. And we're reading out of first Samuel 16 verse seven. Highly recommend

going back and reading the entire chapter of 16, but verse seven says, but the Lord said to

Samuel, don't judge by his appearance or height for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn't see

things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

The love letter from God says, beloved child, I see people from a heavenly perspective. I want

you to have eyes to see the hearts of those around you. Anyone can decorate themselves on the

outside, but only the heart reflects the true beauty of a person. Ask me and I will give you the

ability to see others the way I do. Also, allow me to work in your heart so that it will be tender

towards me and loving towards others. Spend more time with me so you can become more like me.

As we spend more time together, your heart will begin to beat as mine does, and you will begin to

long for the things that really matter. When others see you, they will say, you have your father's

heart. They will find me through you when you love them with my love. Love your heavenly father.

The reflection says, often the most beautiful people are not those with a spectacular appearance,

but those with an amazing heart. You know them by how they live their lives and how they treat
