All right, Brian, before we can officially turn the page, right, on the 2024 season,

there's some things to look back on.

And not necessarily specific performances or specific games, but you look at the season as a whole, right?

And is 2024 kind of what vaults Notre Dame into the upper echelon of college football?

Is that the new foundation

that they have, the new standard, if you will, for this program? Or like you mentioned in the first

part of the show, is it going to be, are they going to fall more in line with the TCUs, the

Michigan's, right after they have their magical seasons? So there's a lot to dive into and talk to

about this one, Brian. So when you

look back in 2024 and what this means moving forward, where do you start? Where do you start

looking at it? Yeah, Trev, so like the premise of this conversation for me is looking at it because, as I

said, just to kind of set the stage, we have seen a lot over the years of

teams that make the college football playoff or play for the championship will go and kind

of have drop-offs the next year. And some of them are big and some of them are smaller. You know,

Oregon plays for the Thailand 2014 the next year. They're

still good, but they're nine and four, you know, and, and they're not close to a playoff team.

And they finished the year number 19. Florida State goes 10 and three. They finished number

14 that season. Ohio State was really good. Obviously, Alabama the next year went and won the

championship.

So obviously there was a bit of a difference there. You look at, you know, 2016, you know,

Alabama wins the title and Clemson and Oklahoma and Michigan State are all, you know,

all good football teams. And Oklahoma the next year are still good. They're really good again.
