Hello and welcome to this week's episode of what most people think and I am coming to you from Manchester Media City in Salford in Manchester.

I'm working on TV shop here and I guess today, big favourite of the show, Andrew Doyle, is in Arizona.

Now Andrew, welcome back. Who wins in terms of glamour? I don't know which bit of Arizona you're in.

Exactly. And I don't know which bit of Manchester you're in. So this is kind of going to be very difficult to assess. I think just in terms of the fact that I'm in the desert and there's a lot of sunshine, I might edge it, except it's also monsoon season. So we've had an actual dust storm, a haboob where you couldn't see directly. Is that what they call it out there? They call it a haboob, yeah. Yeah, a real old haboob out here. Yeah, well, hubobs everywhere. And then the lightning strikes in the, I mean, we, like, forked lightning right above me every 20 seconds for about two hours. It's pretty scary. It's pretty Frankenstein level of fear and

terror and at the same time during the day. It's just glorious. So I guess it's a more dramatic

place than Manchester. Yeah, it's a more epic landscape, more cinematic, certainly.

More cinematic, certainly. Than Salford, I would argue. But I was writing on this show up here and then I tried to make it back down to see my son and wife because I haven't been at home much recently the other night. And my Renault Clio packed in, completely packed in. It just literally came up with a message and said, electrical motor failure, pull over now. I was on for getting home at a decent time, and then all of a sudden I was on the standing by

the M6 in the rain and I don't know about you but in that situation my level of self-pity is so high

like I genuinely felt thwarted by God at that point well we're so pampered aren't we we were so

baxter yeah broken down cars that is the worst thing that could potentially happen to be. You know, if you were living in Dickensie in London with no money, you might be grateful to have a knackered old car. But forget Dickensy in London. I was even thinking of all these troubled war zones, sadly in our world today. I was thinking, yeah, but are they standing by the M6? Yeah.

And are they performing in Salford?

Because the last time I performed in Salford, it was when the council had introduced that ban on foul language.

And they tried to enforce it.

And of course, he's never going to work in Manchester of all places.

Then you're going to halve everyone's communication possibilities. We're down to about four words with this. Basically. So this week we're going to be talking about a shock poll for reform. I feel like I've had quite a few shock polls. And actually most of them are saying more or less the same thing. So we might call it a totally predictable poll for reform. But it does show them with an even bigger lead than the ones they've been enjoying.

We were going to talk about a few things about Labor, but a couple of hours before starting this record, Keir Stahmer has done a social media post announcing phase two of his government.
