For any listeners, I am Andrea. I am a total shit show. I am also an adult child and if you don't know what that is,

that is someone who grew up in an alcoholic or dysfunctional family whose childhood is negatively impacting their life as an adult.

So these are the 14 common characteristics of an adult child of a dysfunctional family.

If you have, I think if they say three or more, you are an adult child, but here's the good news.

All of the cool kids, all of the cool folks are adult children. So normal is lame if you ask me.

So today we are diving deep with Ben Taylor. So Ben is the face behind the YouTube channel, the Instagram account, raw motivations.

And he refers to himself as a self-aware narcissist who educates people on narcissistic personality disorder,

as well as he's a coach and he has courses that help people navigate through various narcissistic situations.

And so I was just thinking as I was preparing my notes to do this introduction, is this interview controversial?

I personally don't think so. I don't think that he said anything that is particularly jarring.

I don't know. Let me know. He does not refer to himself as a recovery narcissist.

He does not refer to himself as as a healed narcissist. As I said before, he refers to himself as a self-aware narcissist

who is under the impression and based off research I've done that most people with narcissistic personality disorders

don't change. It's not that they can't change. It's that they don't change and that is because one,

it requires awareness, which most will never have. And then it requires a very intense willingness

to do the hard work needed to change. So Ben will be sharing with us about his journey of discovering
