I am your host Brendan Sinone, although I, well, to the pleasure of some of you, I will not be the host for most of today, as we begin one of a few series that we have planned for the

next month or so this is the first episode of our camp memories series no I

don't mean memories of me spending my summers at the YMCA getting picked on by the cool kids.

This is a series about football camps that became Staples at FSU for the last decade or so.

None this year, as we well know for obvious reasons we miss them I know I miss covering them and

I'm sure Josh and Chris and the rest of the guests we're gonna have on through the

course of this series missed it as well but we want to go over some of these storylines that made June and July bearable.

That made the summer months memorable as we push through the dog days of summer to get to fall camp.

We're going to have nostalgia. We're going to have insights. We're going to get behind the scenes looks at details that probably you

guys have never heard before some really important recruitment in the history of

FSU football. Put it this way. We're uniquely positioned to do this sort of podcast because Josh

Knubberg and Chrisney covered FSU recruiting at an elite level.

They covered at an elite level now, but they've done so for a very long time, not to say those two are old old but they've done it for more than a decade now so with that in mind today's toast is going to be Josh Newburgh Josh I heard it in your voice yesterday when we were doing the the prep for this episode you're legitimately excited for the series

huh? I'm excited for the series because attending these summer camps year after year,

summer after summer were one of the most enjoyable aspects of my job.

We talked on the Meet to the Beat series about some of the things that were great,

some of the things that we don't look forward to with our job.

Summer camps were definitely the

highlight of my year coming up to Tallahassee I love to get out of the house
