Welcome to the special bonus episode, which is a little less special because it's exactly the kind of interview I hate doing.

That is, it's over Skype.

It's part of the Fast Company magazine's 100 Most Creative People article.

And I was thrilled to get to talk to Kelly Curry.

Unfortunately, she's back and forth from Nashville all the time.

So we didn't actually get to sit down together and we had to do the interview over Skype.

And it was not the best Skype connection.

I did the best I could to clean this up for you, but this is why

we're releasing it as a bonus interview. Kelly was great. She was very forthcoming and really

very frank about her experiences in this, her first year of writing and producing a television show

and directing as well. So it is a good conversation.

It's just a little tougher to listen to than the usual podcast.

So for that, I apologize.

There was only one other of these fast company interviews that I couldn't do in person,

but it was a phoner, and I think it sounds a lot cleaner.
