Now, at the moment of recording, so it's 10 past 1 on Thursday, We're in the middle of a developing story and it involves

various legal issues. So we actually can't say very much about it at the moment. Now, Phil,

I'm going to go to you. Can you give us a really brief update on how things stand at the moment

10 past 1 on Thursday? Yeah. So where we are right now is that the former First Minister,

Alex Salmon, has been arrested by the police.

At the time of recording, we don't know yet what he's been charged with, although that should be confirmed later on in the day.

The police, what we can say is that the police have been investigating following a Scottish government inquiry into complaints of sexual harassment against Mr Salmond, which he denies.

But at the moment, this is basically a court story, not a politics one, so there's very little we can say.

Yeah, so that is basically what we can say at the moment.
