Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. Wherever you are out there in the world, it's

time to step out onto the high wire. Here in California, citizens across this great state have been

standing on the high wire this week. Images like we've never seen beautiful images, terrifying images. As a

reported last week, SB 276, a law that was going to threaten the safety of every immune suppressed

child in the state, threatening doctors for audit if they decide to write a medical exemption for any one of those children, a law that they suspended the rules in order to force it through.

Gavin Newsom, the governor, was under siege, even though he'd requested amendments, they pushed it through the Senate, that very next day. Everything was sitting on Gavin Newsom's desk as we entered the weekend.

On Monday, citizens across California decided that they were going to gather to try and stop or protest or get Gavin Newsom to do something about this horrific bill.

And so the thought of Occupy Sacramento began. Mother's, women, fathers, grandmothers, children, all occupied the state capital. There were arrests, images like we have not seen.

And I believe this week in California will be a day that lives in a week that lives in infamy. This is what it looked like in Sacramento starting this Monday.

We're here today and we're surrounding the capital. We're inside the capital. We're all over the building. We're on three sides. If you look around this building today, most of these mothers and fathers vaccinated their kids. They were injured.

Fortunately, every day we get new members in this club unwillingly. And once their kids are injured, they're never going to show shut up. It's all bets are off now.

We're going to bet that's necessary.

We'll be saved a peaceful protest. Two mothers chained themselves to the door and then all the other mothers and fathers linked up as a human chain.

We have to hold the line now. We have nowhere to go. There's nowhere else to go on 276. These are the most vulnerable and at risk kids in our state.

If you want to come with us, we're going to head around to the north side.

All persons in this area of the capital are in violation of Section 1868. You are here by order to immediately leave this area.

If you do not leave this area, you will be subject to physical arrest and detention.

If you resist from moving this area or fail to submit to arrest, necessary force will be used.

You need to move away from the door allowing access to the capital.
