The election of 2024, California, the Electoral College.

It is blue, blue, blue.

However, I learned from Bill Whelan of the Hoover Institution, he is the host of policy and politics as

well as the goodfellas, that California turnout is all critical for the Congress and for the state of California when it comes to the popularity of

the governor and action on the ballots, initiatives, all of that turns on turnout.

I didn't know until Bill gave me some numbers.

The number I concentrate on is six seats in the California congressional delegation, four of which are toss-up all Republican seats.

Does the survival of those seats for the Republican Party turn on a low turnout or high

turnout or why is turnout so such a challenge to the Democratic Party?

The simple answer for California is the more the merrier as far as Democratic concerns go.

The state is about two to one in terms of Democratic registration over Republican John so logic dictates the more

the people vote the stronger the Democratic turnout and you saw this in the 2020 presidential

election John where the turnout of registered voters was a just staggering 80.7%.

Let me repeat that, four and five registered voters turned out to vote in that election.

So the question in 2024, and now that the Democrats have changed horses in

midstream and you have a Californian at the top of the ticket in Kambla Harris

is can she get voters to turn out in those same monster numbers we're talking
