and we have an interview with Mike Gatto.

In November of 2013, a quiet afternoon in Silver Lake turned into a nightmare for one family.

Joe Gatto, 78-year-old teacher, army veteran, grandfather, and jewelry maker, was found shot at his desk in his home, an unlikely target in an

otherwise peaceful life. His son, former California assemblyman, Mike Gatto, was left with a question

that no parent's death should leave behind. Who did this and why? More than a decade later, Mike

Gatto remains in pursuit of answers. He's written a book chronicling his father's unsolved

murder, the obsession that followed, and the way grief and justice collided in his life.

So I had the pleasure of interviewing him a few weeks ago.

We were discussing his father's case.

It was a very serious interview about a very difficult topic.
