a 27-year veteran of the NYPD. We're all hoping for a break in these fires, these devastating,

devastating fires in California. The images are just absolutely horrific as we look at these.

And as the Santa Ana winds continue, and they continue blowing and spreading the fire to other neighborhoods, new fires broke out in an area called West Hills last night.

And before you knew it, 10,000 acres had been destroyed.

And this is the nature of this fire.

And 8,000 more firefighters have been brought in.

The National Guard has been brought in.

When you look at these images,

Mandatory evacuation orders were lifted before midnight as the fire was partially contained,
