He's out for the season after everybody in Carolina Nation,

everybody in college basketball nation waiting for him to return from the injury

earlier this season.

Greg, just devastating news for the North Carolina program.

It is Tommy. And you, Caleb Wilson up into the injury in the Miami game several weeks ago was having one of the best seasons that a freshman has ever had at Carolina.

And the silver lining at that point in time, as we reported just a couple days after that game, that all expectations were that Caleb Wilson was going to be back.

The game plan was to get him back for the ACC tournament, make sure he was ready for postseason,

and there was a chance that he would be ready for the Duke game.

Things were kind of trending in that direction.

I don't know this for a fact, but I was kind of working under an assumption that he

would play against Duke.

And I think it really benefited the team, knowing that there was a likelihood that he

was coming back.
