You know, it could be a calm before the storm type thing, but it was kind of nice to just have

a time where we weren't just bombarded by rumors of sorts.

In fact, it kind of filled, how do I put this?

If anything, today, it kind of filled, how do I put this?

If anything today, it kind of felt like looking internally and then looking at what might

be happening across the river, specifically the East River, and getting a feel for what's

going on with Brooklyn, or at least what could be. So, you know, I mean,

here's the beauty of this podcast, right? Like, we can talk about the Nix because we're going to,

right? It's a, it's Nix film school or Nix fans. We can talk about it. But we can also just

talk about basketball generally and how it directly and indirectly can impact the Nix.

But the thing about the Nets, because I feel like it's a fun topic to discuss, right?

Why not?

They're just so fascinating to me because they're in this position where if you look at their

roster, right, it's Kevin Durant, a superstar, true superstar,

getting up there in age, but still dominant.

And you look at the end of the rest of the roster, right?

It's Kyrie Irving, where now there's the report where the Nets maybe aren't even comfortable

giving him an extension

that goes long term, how that impacts them.

You know, you've got Ben Simmons there who has still not played a game since he was with Philadelphia
