No, I did because I thought that this episode in the name of acquiring as many podcast

listeners as possible should begin with some broad existential

questions about the SEC and among those is me wondering out loud if Florida is now at least neck and neck with

Georgia as the favorite to win the SEC's. I mean that they're more than neck and neck

they got voted SEC East champion by our writer friends, the SEC.

I think we're going to know pretty soon after this week for two reasons and we'll get to

this obviously but what

George's offense does on Saturday is going to go a long way to

determine whether I actually think what happened on Saturday is indicative

of the changing of the tides that I hope

I think they're very good I think that Kyle Pitts is pretty easily the best tight end

and not only in college football right now but I think in a minute or two that we've had in college football

there just aren't many dudes like him even in the SEC. I think that the entire

offense is no longer your Jim McElwain Florida offense. I think it's now

pretty close to fully operational

under Dan Mullen, and I think that they are probably

do for some very good things this year.

But I actually want to talk, and that was kind of just a Trojan horse. I want to talk about the team that Florida beat up on pretty badly on Saturday.

And of course that is Ole Miss and anytime I talk about any entity based in the state of Mississippi, I go to one man.
