What is up and welcome back to the Deeper Than Money podcast?

I am about to explode with excitement and gratitude and just freaking joy, just freaking joy. Because today I'm going to be telling you about the story that happened yesterday where one of my biggest financial dreams came true.

So yesterday I wrote a check to pay in full for a new car for my parents for Christmas. Okay. And so now I'm going to

tell you the story of where this, how this started, how this happened, and how it freaking

felt for it to come true. Okay. So I just want to take you back in this journey with me

and a couple years ago, so maybe like four years ago, I was so stressed about money.

Money was the most stressful thing for me and it ran my life. It ran my life. Money was the first

thing I thought of when I woke up and the last thing I thought of when I went to bed because I

was always stressed out. And when you are in that state, whether you make a bajillion dollars

and have nothing to show for it or whether you're just barely squeaking by, whether you make a bajillion dollars and have nothing to show for it, or whether

you're just barely squeaking by, if you were in a place where money is stressful and you're

not getting ahead and nothing's working, it can feel like it's running your life. Okay. And so basically,

butta-bing, but-a-boom, I started going on this journey to pay off debt.
