Let's look at some of the second half standouts from 2021, and if we buy it or we sell it right now on fantasy football today in five.

0:10.0

I'm Adam Azor with Jamie Eisenberg. We're going to start with Rashad Penny.

0:14.0

I'm going to even include the San Francisco game for Penny, which was week 13. It was 10 carries for 35 yards. Then he went berserk.

0:22.6

But even if you include that game, he was the number two running back in full PPR over the last

0:27.2

six games with only six catches. And he averaged 6.9 yards per carry. He was unbelievable. Jamie

0:33.8

Rashad Penny in that stretch had four games with 135 or more rushing yards.

0:39.7

Spectacular stuff.

0:41.0

How much are you buying it?

0:42.2

I know he's a free agent, but just in general, how much you're buying Rashad Penny?

0:46.4

Four years ago, NFL draft night, I knew four years later he would finally deliver on the promise that the Seahawks invested in him.

0:53.7

He's a free agent, you know, so it's hard to say. So if he, let's just say he comes back to Seattle and Chris Carson is his competition coming off of the neck injury that he dealt with. And I think you buy Rashad Penny. Going to a different team doesn't always work out so well for running backs when they switch teams, especially with such a limited sample size. So I'd probably be selling Rashad Penny in that scenario. It just depends on where he would end up. So too many variables, I think, but if he does come back to Seattle and it is all systems go, status quo, Carson, the competition, then I would buy it. As what? Maybe a fourth round pick in PPR? I will not spend a fourth round pick on Rashad Penny. Probably the earliest I would buy and Tim would be somewhere in the middle of round five, around six. He'll probably be gone by that point. But, you know, I just think it depends. You know, if Carson is is back and ready to go, then it's a tougher sell. If Carson is still, we hope he's going to return. Optimistic P. Carroll, then I think you get a little bit more excited about Rashad Penning that's there. All right. In that same time frame, the last six games of the season, Devin Singletary was the number six running back in full PPR. He ended the regular season with five straight games with 78 or more total yards. He was involved in the

2:02.2

passing game in the fantasy, in the playoffs, rather, he had the real playoffs. He had seven

2:06.4

catches in two games, had one very good game against the Patriots and not so much against

2:10.9

the Chiefs. But he really, bottom line, as he took over as the lead running back, no question

2:15.8

about it for the bills. So what do you think about that? I want to buy it. I really do. You know, I want Buffalo to lean on him, make him their guy, put Zach Moss in the reserve role, bringing another veteran break glass type, you know, break glass in emergency situation type of guy like a Matt Brita. And so let Singletary kind of, you know, blossom a little bit. You know, we've seen flashes of this from him when, you know, certainly Zach Moss in his time over the last couple of seasons. But this was the first time that they fully committed to him with a healthy Zach Moss, making a healthy scratch for several of those games down this stretch. And so I like the setup for Devon Singletary. right Now, I think it's all a matter of, you know, putting it in perspective.

2:52.7

Is he going to be a difference-making type of league-winning fantasy running back? Probably not. But can he be a serviceable number two guy? Absolutely for sure if this is the same, you know, setup. So he's somebody I would be buying in the round four range. Okay. in that same time stretch, those six games,

3:08.8

Amonra St. Brown had two more targets than Cooper Cup. somebody I would be buying in the round four range. Okay, in that same time stretch, those six

3:07.7

games, Amonra St. Brown had two more targets than Cooper Cup. He had two fewer catches than

3:14.1

Cooper Cup. He had one fewer touchdown. He had 154 yards. But he was the number two wide receiver

3:20.5

in fantasy in that stretch. He averaged almost 21 PPR fantasy points per game. Amonra

3:26.0

St. Brown had 10 to 12 targets in six straight games, eight or more catches in six straight

3:31.1

games, and a touchdown in five of those six games. He was unbelievable. What did you make of that for
