Morning Wire Afternoon Update. afternoon update. Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters took over Bryant Park in New York on

Thursday demanding a ceasefire in Gaza. Dozens of the protesters then took over the

lobby of the New York Times office building in Manhattan.

They claim the media is biased against Palestinians and is promoting genocide.

An NYPD vehicle was also vandalized by the protesters who spray-painted the letters

IDF and K K K K K and free Gaza on the patrol car. No arrests were made.

A jury found Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital liable for damages up to $220 million in the medical malpractice case of

Maya Kowalski this week. Kowalski now 17 years old was separated from her family

for three months by health workers and child

protective services contractors who accused her mother of

fabricating Maya's condition. The stress of the separation which included

severely restricted visitation and communication with the family,

ultimately drove Maya's mother to suicide, the jury concluded.

The case is seen as a win for parental rights.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buda Judge traveled to Ukraine this week to meet with President

Salinsky.

According to the Department of Transportation, the Secretary was there to support, quote, investments in

transportation infrastructure, which are funded by US aid to Ukraine.

The trip comes as watchdog group Americans for Public Trust reported that boot a judge has

flown on private jets at taxpayer expense 18 times since 2022.
