I'm Dan Kovachvich of DK. Pittsburgh Sports, joined by Chris Hallick over on the south side of our city, where the football team was really busy.

That was to be expected.

It was the first day of OTAs.

There also were some headlines to emerge from this.

Not necessarily seismic headlines or whatever, but let's go through them, Chris, one at a time.

First off,

Aaron Rogers did formally sign his contract. What can be added about Rogers' day over there?

Well, he was present. He could have signed his contract and bolted because these are voluntary

workouts. He did not do that.

He signed his contract. He showed up.

He was leading the charge with all the in the quarterback rotation.

He was as active and vocal as he always is.

And you've observed these practices of Rogers as well as i have and uh it was just

like covering him last year he takes charge does he not he definitely takes charge and that's

it's what you want from your quarterback right um so yeah for when it comes to the rogers front it was

almost business as usual uh there was some chit-chat

going on between him and Mike McCarthy, but he's, Mike McCarthy's a head coach. He's the play caller.

You're going to expect there to be some conversation happening there. The only other thing

that was found out about Rogers ahead of the signing was what Michael

Pittman Jr. said is that the two of them did have, like him and Rogers, did have one

throwing session before Rogers came back before Rogers made his decision. So there was one
