The rise of New York City's Democratic mayoral frontrunner, Zohran Mamdani, is raising questions.

Will other American cities embrace his progressive policies if he's victorious Tuesday?

We're seeing civic leaders, at least from one party, lining up basically against innovation,

against private property, against local business owners, that is very worried.

In just a few days, the world's business capital, New York City, will select its next mayor.

The favorite to win is Zohran Mamdani, a self-described Democratic Socialist.

It is this title that has both Republicans and even some Democrats concerned.

Besides his controversial views regarding Israel, his platform, which includes free buses,

universal childcare, and city-run grocery stores, made prominent Democrats pause before

supporting the frontrunner in next week's New York City mayoral race. But in recent weeks,

endorsements from the establishment, from New York Governor Kathy Hokel to House Minority Leader

Hakeem Jeffries. While Mondani's focus on affordability appeals to residents of one of America's

most expensive cities, critics fear his use of class warfare tactics.
