iPhone maker Apple found itself in the crosshairs of EU's antitrust regulators this week.

Now the company faces an ultimatum comply with their rules for big tech or face serious fines.

The problem is when these fines become dynamic. What they tell you is not exactly you need to pay this fine,

but you need to pay this percentage of your profits from now on.

That makes it impossible.

It's a much more stringent way to try to regulate the competition.

The Trump administration has been outspoken on their intentions to promote a deregulatory

environment in the U.S., taking a strong pro-innovation stance when it comes to policy surrounding

big tech.

But as companies like Apple and Meta thrive in the United States, they face an entirely different set of regulations and rules in Europe.
