about this for a second this is this is something that i want to put into the heads of the the listeners

out there okay there is a business owner who listens to our show frequently and there's two actually

in the past two weeks they call me and they said hey we have a

business and we would like to franchise it and I said okay not a problem I said tell me about your

business and they said okay they told me some details and I said well if you want to franchise

your business there's three steps you got to take here. Three steps. Step number one,

you have to have what's called an item 19 on your franchise disclosure document. There's 23

items on the FDD and you have to have the number 19 is all that matters. They said, what's number

19? I said, number 19 is you have to be operating after you pay your franchise fees at a 15% profit,

which means your company has to be to 20 to 25% profit margin to franchise.

And they said, well, why?

I said, well, that's, that's, that's thing number two.

Thing number two, you have to have a turnkey model as documented on item number seven
