Man, today we're going to have a pretty cool open format kind of Q&A for my business buyers out there.

Today we're going to go into the weeds

and go more intermediate on things that I'm going through with acquisition, things that other

people are going through an acquisition. So this is more, once you have that LOI accepted,

negotiating terms, working through legal, personal guarantees, all this type of stuff that

I'm struggling to like still learn about.

And it's just something that's very much so experienced. You can't really read a book about it.

You can't attend a class about it. You have to go through it and have somebody else that's

gone through it. So my intention is with today's podcast episode that you guys will be able to learn from us,

learn from some of my mistakes, Jay's mistakes, and then be able to apply that into your first,

second, or third business purchase. So Jay, people that are unfamiliar with you that are

brand new perhaps to the show, introduce yourself to the people. Who are you and where are we

at today? Well, my name is Jay Borgana. I'm a business geek.

I spent my whole life studying ways to make money and study in ways to build businesses, grow

businesses, build teams, acquire talent, retain talent, acquire capital, and retain capital. So I started out in banking.

I ended up in manufacturing.

It's been about five, six years in China, turning around a manufacturing facility.

I consulted for another five years right after 2008, where everything became a turnaround.

And I've spent years in a lot of different industries, whether it is manufacturing,

distribution, food production, anything, you name it, I've touched it.
