practice squad. Steph, how are we doing today so far?

Well, we're reliving a 49th tradition and that is being the very last team

to announce their 53-man roster.

So I guess we're doing great.

I don't schedule, right?

We've never been more back, you know?

And it's the 49ers that literally like, you know, 4 o'clock you said, we'll have it in like 4.15, you know, like, let's, you know, let's just, we'll get it there eventually, right? Like, you know, our, our fax machine is down. Um, but, uh, Steph, there are some names that did not make the team so far have been waived with a chance to come back,

you know, obviously with the practice squad. And I think that's sort of the thinking. Jalen Graham

waived Stone Blanton waived. I can't believe that you can wave somebody with the name Stone.

It's just strong. Um, fan favorite Sebastian Valdez. I guess we can start there. Steph, I thought he did enough to make this 53 man roster. I, I even, when I put on my prediction this morning, I did some gymnastics trying to, you know, keep a spot for him. And you know what? The 49 is just said, who cares? Yeah, well, that's just it. they had to do some gymnastics in order to get him

on and one thing that we'd be surprised to hear ourselves say like months ago is the fact that the

four of nineers defensive tackle room is actually pretty deep right now like they got so many guys

uh you got jordan elia clea davis c West, Salforda Collins, Anderson, Givens.

So, like, would you really put Valdez ahead of any one of those guys?

I mean, that'd be a very tough choice.

We talked about the possibilities of, hey, maybe they could put someone on IR for the first four weeks of the season.

Well, that's always tough because I'm sure

they have that planned for a couple of other players, but you only have so many of those
