Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host, Steve Robertson, here on the magnificent Monday edition of the art.

Well, we had a successful weekend in some respects, not quite the weekend we had hoped to have, but still just kind of, in many respects, kind of kicking the can down the road a little bit, kind of staying in contention for some things.

You know, we've still got a long way to go. We've still got to have some things to go right for us.

But we took care of business for the most part. It would have been great to get the sweep,

but we had a chance to get the sweep. Last time we spoke, we had defeated them on Thursday night,

went into Friday, had a chance to take the series.

We did and come up just short of taking the sweep on Saturday.

And you know as well as I do, and we'll talk about this a little bit later in the show,

is we're sitting there and Cade Smith's up to nothing.

I turned to Steph, who was recently left at the Daily

Journal for Declaren Ledger, Stefan Krasnick, and said, you know, I don't think two runs

is going to be enough to win this game. You know, you want to be up a little more comfortably

before you have to pull Smith. And of course, Smith had that very difficult first inning.

They ran his pitch count up. And then he was still strong, but he was starting to fade just a little bit.

And then we have to turn it over to the bullpen.

And you guys are well aware of the fact that that has been a rather dicey proposition.

Didn't work out for us.

But again, a three-in- one week, that's a good week.

You keep having those kinds of week, you're going to get in the tournament.

Got a big week coming up and got what, five games and eight days or so?

I mean, it's, yeah, we've got, we've got, it's going to be a real, real challenge for

our bullpen.
