And man, it feels so bad to lose. It does. And it's not that we lost. I expected to lose, right? I'm not going to have this pity party today. And, you know, I'm not ready to, you know, discontinue to football program and bulldoze the stadium and all that kind of stuff.

You know, they're sometimes for prisoners at the moment.

I think it's important to kind of understand, you know, there's a process here.

But I tell you what irritates me, and this, you know, really predates Zach Arnett.

Yeah, I mean, even when Dan Mullen was here, as great as the years were, we were really

never competitive against Alabama, with the exception of maybe 2014, a game we should have won.

We were number one in the country. Alabama made history that day, one of the few times in

school history that had defeated a number one team. And in 2017, we should have won both of those games.

But by and large, we just haven't been competitive against Alabama.

And that's the measuring stick in this conference.

And again, people look up and say, you know, Old Mississippi,

be Alabama a couple times.

They did.

They also got absolutely trounced in most of those games.

And I understand, like you look up and, hey, a big win for those guys over LSU, and they're certainly

playing better football than we are right now. I mean, how could you argue against that, right?

But it just irritates me to you look up and you say, you know what? It's a sure loss every year when Alabama's on the schedule. They won't be on a schedule next year, but it's just very, very frustrating to think this is where we are as a program that we go into these games expecting to lose. Listen, there was a time there in a second quarter. I thought, you know what, we may make this thing interesting, and interesting and we did but it didn't last we mismanaged the end of the second quarter and essentially the game

was decided at halftime so we're going to break the game down we're going to work through all that today

and we're going to look forward to kind of you know what's next the rest of the way and yeah I've got the new mic hooked up too

so you maybe your your sound quality may be a little bit better it may be a little bit modulated
