And here on the magnificent Monday edition of the yard, I'm back in Starkville.

Got home about 3 a.m. this morning, drove the hallway from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I did not want to leave. That's probably not surprising. I didn't want to go.

Good news is I'll pick her up Wednesday evening at the airport as we head to, you know, vacation.

Excited about that, hoping you guys get out and have a chance to spend some time with those you love here in the coming days as we celebrate the end of this year and the beginning of next year.

Today's show will be our year in in review and we'll come back. Wednesday show will be recorded tomorrow.

And that'll be our preview of the bowl game. And then there won't be a show on Friday.

And I suspect there won't be one on Monday. So you're going to get two this week

and we may come back next week and do a, do three next week. But you'll be short a show this week

as your good friend and host takes a much needed R&R. A lot of windshield time here as of late.

You know, I didn't plan to make that trip out to Albuquerque kind of last minute.

I said, you know what, I got to get out here.

I got to get away from Stargwood for a little while and just kind of reset a little bit.

And I did.

Had a great time with the wife.

And we celebrated Christmas Eve by Netflix and chilling.

Ordered some Chinese takeout from Grubhub. That was our day.

It was wonderful.

One of the best days I've had in a long time.

Didn't think about a lot of this stuff that's going on here as of late.

And it's kind of enjoyed being a dude for a while.
