Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson. Here on the Monday edition of the yard, it feels so good to win. It does. It feels so good to win. We have played two games. We are two and oh. We will take it. As I wrote yesterday, it is certainly possible to be

pleased with the outcome, but not completely satisfied with the performance. And I think that's where

most people are. It's like, yeah, if I get on there and be like, oh, you think we lost the game. Yeah, I get it. But the reality is we all

want the same things. That's for state to win, but also we want state to play well. And there are times

on Saturday we didn't. We're going to talk about that very candidly today. We're also not going to

underscore the fact that we did win the football game, right?

We did win the game. We are 2 and 0. You didn't misremember that. We won the game.

There is a scoreboard that's posted on each end of the football stadium, and when the time elapsed,

Mississippi State had more points in Arizona. All that said, there were some things that we did over the course of that ball game

to make that game closer than it should have been.

And listen, take nothing away from Arizona.

Those guys very talented, especially in the trenches.

Jaden DeLara, as we said all week, is capable of leading that team into Davis Wade Stadium and leaving with the

victory comes up about a foot short of at least having the opportunity to do that but very

impressed with him they turned him loose he uses athleticism and at times used our

defensive scheme against us and I was kind of you, you think about the kryptonite last year.

You know, the teams that really gave states some trouble were mobile quarterbacks.

And because we vacate so much space in the middle of the field by bringing pressure.

And when you don't get home, it opens up some running opportunities for the quarterback.

And we're going to see another

very mobile quarterback this week in Jaden Daniels. Probably the two most mobile quarterbacks we're

going to see all year. Week two, week through. And then you get to Alabama. You know,
