What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

And yesterday, we talked about the Pacers going to the finals and the unique style that they have in

getting there and how they built their team by looking at their best player

and going, what can we be great at with Tyrese Halliburton?

And then saying, hey, we can be a fast team that's great in transition.

And then they spent a few years building out a team that were great in those aspects of the game and they find

themselves in the finals really dominating a certain aspect of basketball. And Dee, I wanted to talk

about that with you today here on the pod with respect to Luca. So much of our conversation

around Luca first to start out with has been sort of a how did we make it work on the fly midseason with the team

that we have but then over the course of this off season as we have our GM hats on right now

it's been discussed through a deficit model meaning that okay you don't have enough defense if

you throw Austin and LeBron in there as well it it's like, oh, very clearly they need defensive players.
