This week, we had the pleasure to sit down with Nicole Emrani - psychotherapist and founder of the popular app, Givingli. Nicole is a savvy millennial entrepreneur who noticed that the card industry had not been updated to reflect the realities of the digital age. Fueled by her background in mental health, Nicole set out to bring the human connection and community that exists offline into the world of social media by creating a platform that allows users to send customized cards to their loved ones. In 2020, we spend so much time talking about the harmful effects of social media on our mental health, so it was so refreshing to hear Nicole’s perspective on how we can instead use it as a tool for positive change and building strong relationships.
