I didn't really want to do the Friday after the Cowboys Bucks game.

But the schedule and Labor Day made

it. So Dave Damishik, my good, good pal. What's happening, check? Well, Sal, I, you know,

I remain over the moon because football is upon us. My heart goes out to you, though, a moral

victory for as much as that counts in pro football. In our league, they say there are no moral victories.

I feel like Cowboys fans, though, are bucking that and saying,

hey, the future is bright after what I saw at the world champs, you know,

pirate ship slash stadium on Thursday night.

Yeah, well, we'll go over it.

And again, you're right.

It was all about football returning, right?

So I couldn't get over that glorious, that notion that we are back after all these

dead months.

You know, basketball could go 15 months a year.

That's fine.

But football, during year to my heart.
