Bucknuts almost live. We brought the show back our Sunday morning podcast

Four Game Weekends. You can expect a little intro from

myself and then we'll have visits from the Dean Bill Kerlett, Mount Baxend out on the

bucket and today it will be Steve Hellwagon. We will have one of our beat guys, be it Steve, Dave Biddle, or Patrick Murphy on every week to let you know how it went down.

First, my impressions from yesterday, Ohio State gets it done

a board at Florida Atlantic 4521 they jump out to a 28-0 lead and it was arguably

the worst performance by an opponent for the first 10 minutes of the game that I have ever seen.

Justin Fields looked excellent right from the start on his real debut for Ohio State.

A long touchdown run a couple very easy touchdown passes. The offense was crisp from the start.

Florida Atlantic's defense, I have no idea what they were doing. I've never seen people

blowed Simons that badly that early in the game.

Ohio State was obviously able to take advantage, jump out to a ridiculous 28 to nothing lead.

I do think at that point though that Ryan Day somewhat called off the dogs I see there's a lot of negativity out there about lack of execution etc

and there was some of that but I think they got up so early at 28-0 and so easily. I think the kids on the team held up a little bit after that.

I think Ryan Day kept everything in the holster for Cincinnati. That's a big test coming in here. Defensively, it did seem like early

on they were running to the ball much more aggression from the linebackers.

That's what the group I was looking at. There were some mistakes made obviously,

but it's hard to judge against Florida early,

especially when the number one running back went out.

We were dominant, dominant early on defensively. I think it was 287 to minus 7 yards at some point.

Any major judgment made after that point to me is a little off kilter. I do realize
