We are not going to do our usual programming this week.

I think just because of the events of yesterday,

we weren't, we were busy, you know, editing the episode that we were going to give to you today and putting it out there, but when all of the stuff started happening in the capital we just

decided that we need it a little more time.

So I hope that you will be patient with us.

And we will be back with you next week

with a really exciting episode with Sarah Schulman who wrote conflict is not abuse.

And obviously that's appropriate for this time, this period, considering all the things that are going on.

However, the episode is also a little bit challenging.

It will definitely challenge quite a few people.

And so we decided that maybe we just needed to give it

a little time to bake

so that people could rest a little

before next week.

It's also, I mean, it's a really great episode as well.

Really fascinating, really juicy and interesting, but it's also, you know, we're addressing some really complicated topics and it's extremely nuanced a lot of the things that we're talking about.

So just, you know, put your grounding boots on before you listen to it next week, but it's really good and I'm excited to show it to all of you next week.

But before I go, I really just wanted to take some time to check in with you. This is an unorthodox episode.

We're not editing this. I'm not, you know, this isn't really prepared, but I just really wanted to check in with all of you guys because

the you know it's not every day that you see people storming the Capitol building with white supremacist insignia and
