choose the right spread for you and your question. So a tarot spread is simply a layout of tarot cards

that's used during a reading. And for every position in a spread, there is a specific meaning. So, for example, the past,

or what's blocking you, or the likely outcome if you take this path. Now, these positions

influence how you interpret the carts. For example, if you pull the four of cups in the past

position, then you know that it means that you've been saying no a lot to

opportunities in the past. Or maybe you pull the ace of swords for what's locking you. And you'll

know that you are lacking the mental clarity that you need right now. So when it comes down to it,

a tarot spread is basically a series of mini questions that help you answer your overall question.

And for every mini question, you're going to be pulling a card, and that card is going to
