| 0:58.0 | Basically, let me explain what you're looking at here. |
| 1:02.0 | Here I have the spread between December 2022 contract for Euro Dollar Futures and the March 2023 contract. |
| 1:14.0 | The way to look at this is there's a chart here that goes up into the right, which is the right way you should see the Euro Dollar Futures contracts. |
| 1:21.0 | They should always be advancing where as you go out into the future, they're sloping upward and to the right. |
| 1:28.0 | They're not inverted. |
| 1:29.0 | You don't expect cuts down the line. |
| 1:32.0 | You would expect that a healthy, robust economy, Euro Dollar Futures, which is a way to effectively bet on livery, the price of money abroad and the Euro Dollar System. |
| 1:40.0 | You would expect it continually to be upward sloping, which would tell you that for the foreseeable future, the Fed is going to be either raising interest rates or pausing. |
| 1:51.0 | That's not what you see here. |
| 1:53.0 | What you saw here in this move in April effectively is that the curve started to trend lower, trend toward a tightening where you didn't expect as much hikes going out into March of 2023. |
| 2:05.0 | In June, I believe it was, or late May, one of the two, you actually saw the curve invert. |
