This is episode 52 annual review episode.

Before I start, I want to talk just a little bit about how this episode is going to be organized since it's a little different

from my typical episode which is a review of a specific topic or book or an interview

with an author or scientist.

This episode is organized into three parts.

First I'm going to review some of the highlights from this year's shows. I hope this will

bring back some of the main ideas for those of you who have been listening all

along and it will encourage those of you who are new

listeners to go back and listen to some of these older episodes. In the second part of

the episode I'm going to take some extra time to tell you about the other resources that I have created on the internet.

This is the kind of stuff that I try to announce from time to time, but that I tend to forget to tell you. Also I know there's a lot of

you that usually don't really listen to the announcements at the end of the episodes. So I'm trying to put all this information into one place.

The third part of today's episode is going to be a look ahead to next year. Please be sure to listen to

this part because I'm going to have some important announcements at the end.
