I think I need a visit to the Green Solution after that NBA award show last night. Man, that was a

tough watch. I do have some thoughts on that, which I'll get to later in the show.

Locates were represented pretty well at the awards show. Tim Connolly taking home second place

and executive of the year. Mike and Malone finishing third, somehow not ahead of Doc Rivers

in the coach of the year voting. I get the argument for Mike Booneholtzer. I don't get the

argument for Doc Rivers over Michael Malone. Still, he was there. He was on the ballot. It's a good

step for the Nuggets. Malik Beasley, Montemortes got some love in the sixth man and most

improved player of the year voting. And of course, the big one, the final award of the

evening, the one we had to wait through two and a half hours of really bad jokes for the MVP
