The brutal crime shook the community and touched the nation,

setting off an intense manhunt for a killer.

Investigators from the Moscow Police Department

joined forces with the Idaho State Police

and the FBI following every lead, every tip, and every piece of evidence.

That investigation took them across the country to Pennsylvania and led them to this man, a grad student at a neighboring university.
