So they think they can't accurately gauge the roster because they're not enough players performing to historical standards.

They're going to be sorely disabused of this notion.

Like, I'll just give you the poster child, I think, for the mismanagement

of Craig Breszo, which is Caleb Durbin.

Caleb Durbin's year last year was the outlier, you dummy.

If you actually watched the games versus just the spreadsheet, you might know that.

He has no plus skill.

He has no high-end ability. It's all sort of guts and guile and hustle

and luck and running around really hard. He's closer to what he is this year than what he was

last year. Just watch him play. And anyone with any sort of critical eye could have told you that.

He was third in the rookie of the year balloting in the NL last year.

So you think that's what he is?

Watch him play.
