playoff for this season he was at a lead 11 EA sports riled everybody up with their list of the top 25 home field advantages.

Real quick though, I just want to acknowledge a crazy college sports story right now that I don't know if our football audience may be fully aware of.

Texas A&M played in the College World Series. They lost, you know, it's elimination. Three game series series against Tennessee they lose game three on

Monday night the very next day their coach Jim Schlachal leaves for Texas of all schools Texas Bruce and I think adding to it just

the you know as if this rivalry isn't hated enough, he gets asked about it after that game, the rumors he's

going to take the Texas job by a Texas Ag's reporter, and choose the guy out and calls us him selfish for asking him that and says,

I, you know, I came to Texas A&M to never have to go to get another job again.

And like less than 24 hours later, he did in fact leave for Texas.

I'm, I was just dumbfounded. Like, it's never is never a great way for a coach to leave for another school but I can't even in like you know you think of some of the coaching moves that tick people off like this year Washington fans hate Caitlin de Boer now for going to Alabama, but it's not like Alabama is

Washington's hated rival. Yeah, also there's some history here. His old boss because before he was at ANM he did a really good job as T.C.

was a baseball coach where his old boss was Chris Del Conte, the AD who is now at Texas.

I noticed some of the comments because I wasn't seeing this in real time

but some of the comments when the reporter in question had mentioned so for the

record this is what I asked.

And, you know, this is like, I want to say it was like 19 hours before maybe it had come to light that he was made, he was gonna bail on the Aggies for the hated rival he had by the way and they had

also beaten Texas to get to get out of the super regional I mean that was one of the

seems they had to get through.

and you know, the people were just kind of ripping the reporter.

A lot of people were at that point and as you mentioned, Texas, you know, our friend Billy Loo Lucci has run it but it's not exactly like you know in terms of it's it's

yeah this was not some enemy reporter coming in and trying to rile things up.

Yeah.
