Jake, it's almost the end of January already. And that means that the NFL offseason for 30 of the 32 teams is heating up.

So we got to talk Shrine Bowl and Senior Bowl all of a sudden, man.

How are you doing?

We're good, man.

This is, like you said, moving fast.

Thursday, we have the Shrine Bowl.

And then the weekend we'll get to the, we'll get to the

senior bowl, which is, there's been a really driven by Jim Nagy who runs the Senior Bowl,

a really weird amount of animosity between these two bowls. If you notice, like Dionne

Sanderson, his, you know, two kids to the to the shrine bowl

and i i know the way the senior bull operates they they almost look not almost they look

directly down on um on what the shrine bowl does it's kind of it's kind of funny watching

watching jim naggy kind of handle his business he put out out a tweet yesterday about scouts needing to recalibrate their eyes when they come to

Mobile and caught a lot of, I think, pretty fair criticism for being pretentious about the whole thing.

And this isn't new.

He had a whole thing with Stets and Bennett years ago.

And that part of the whole thing is a bit of a bummer because it just turns into people puffing out their chest. But the opportunity for these guys is really cool. And, you know, it's a bit of a bummer. You do, because of the extended playoff, we do miss the opportunity to see some Ohio State, Notre Dame guys. I know like Riley Leonard, a couple of the Notre Dame guys are going, but some of the Ohio State guys, really all of the Ohio State guys kind of decided to set that out. So some of that's a bit of a bummer, but now there'll be good participants. We've got a lot of shriamble practices. Some names have stood out, which we can hit on a little bit there. and I know you have some insight that you have come across that is certainly we're sharing about how the top three teams feel about an important quarterback down there at the Shrine Bowl. So yeah, there's a lot, a lot to discuss, a lot to break down here. But I know you want to probably dig in on the coaching staff hire we heard about this morning, right? Yeah. So there's a lot of things happening in multiple directions. We had talked extensively on this podcast about the Browns need to hire a quarterbacks coach,

and they did so, Jake, but it's an internal hire, which I think is surprising to me, certainly.
