follow with an update who asks, I female 20 broke up with a guy 24 and he's been asking me to

send him back the money he spent on our dates. Should I? So I was dating this guy for about four months. We weren't official and I ended

up breaking things off because I realized I actually liked women and not men. I told him this and

apologised for hurting him and wasting his time. I explained that it was never my intention and I

genuinely thought I was by when we first started

seeing each other. When we first spoke about it, he told me he would be okay with it if I realized

I wanted to date women and ended it with him, saying he would be hurt but that in life,

you need to be selfish and I needed to do what made me happy. So I ended it a day later, saying that I wasn't

100% sure I didn't like men at all. I didn't want to lead him on and keep him in the loop

just so I could have a safety net or eventually realize that I was gay and hurt him even more

down the line. Again, I apologized a lot,

mentioned that I was glad I met him

and would like to be friends eventually

if he ever felt like it.

But then he said that even though he will miss me

and wishes me the best,

I wasted his time and money
